found another one on craigs list 7200miles few extras was so cheap that thought it would be good donor sled for my oter three but then went to see itand flipped out 800cash sold. seems to good to part anyways came with an extra skid said it was an xt has anyone tryed these if so how was it seems little tall how does this handle and what do ya do up front with the front shocks if anything? thanks :bling:

You in southern maine? I have seen so cheap yamaha on cl in the last 2-3 weeks

hey ron, for the front with a long travel in the rear you can run viper shocks with venture or sx radius rods and tierods. you have to fab your own upper shock mount but its not a big deal. I don't know if you noticed my srx in the garage on the stand (half tore apart). that one has a doo sc10III in the rear with the viper/venture front end combo. I have mine set up with alot of set-in so it only sits slightly higher than stock. handles the big stuff 100% better and didn't lose too much of that srx slotcar handling.

X2 - You'll also need to space out the dog bones for the sway bar to accomodate the wider stance... or swap out the sway bar for a Viper/Venture. The SRX trailing arm is a bit shorter at the spindle than Viper/Venture so I don't run as much set-in up front... I'd like some slightly stiffer springs up front but all in all I'm happy.

While you're adding height, you're also adding width so it's nearly a wash as far as cornering.

great thanks for all the info guys got alot of projects to finish before winter so this maybe put off for a bit but soundsgood thanks again
