Here is what I posted on Totallyamaha Facebook:
Regretfully our mutual friend, Dr. John R. Sheller (Yamadoc) , passed away at approximately 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Doc suffered from severe diabetes and kidney failure. Thanks to the medical professionals he did not suffer and passed peacefully surrounded by his family. His friends at Totallyamaha will miss him!! "With all the white in heaven there has to be snow!!!" A flower arrangement has been sent.
Thanks for the words Jim!!

Sad news
What a great guy he was. I had the oppurtunity to sit with him in his shop 2 times while on trips to the U.P.. He was hilarious and he had more storys of pranking people at the hospital then I can remember, what a loss......, he will be missed!
God speed my friend!
