Hi everyone, starting to get the itch already, have a question for you, just bought a 02 viper er and have a chance to buy speedwerx tripples for it ,will they fit with the reverse and battery or is it too tight ? Thanks
I don't think they will fit but I'm not sure on that since I had them on a regular Viper. You will have to shim up the front hood hinge to make the hood clear the pipes. I will try and find a picture to show you how they fit in the Vipers, but I don't think they will fit with reverse and battery.
EDIT: Check this post for pictures http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showpost.php?p=390711&postcount=18
From the research and time I spent learning about these pipes, including e-mailing Speedwerx direct, I found out that no 2 Speedwerx pipes fit the same since they were outsourced when built. They will really wake your sled up and you'll have a ton of fun with it, but be ready for worse fuel mileage. Any questions feel free to ask since info on these pipes was hard to find due to not many of these being made. I have a sheet somewhere right from Speedwerx I believe with clutching specs on it. I could try and find that if you like.
I also have clutching and jetting recommendations that I ran if needed. Good luck.

Ya that looks tight for tripple pipes and I'm not going to get rid of the reverse,46 years old and not gunna tug it around anymore,if you can find the spec sheets that would be great just in case I do go with them. Thanks
