I removed the center(front rear shock) to replace bushings and do not remember which way it goes back in. The OEM Yamaha parts finder shows it w/ the shock push rod/spring at the top, however the picture in the TY tuning section shows the threaded shock body towards the top. If that is correct, which way does the valve face? front or back.

Shaft down, spring adjuster up. It goes in with the valve up and to the front.
