Well now that summer is over, and there are only a few more days left on the drag strip this year, Its time to get Focused on sleds once again.. After last year being my first year of getting back into snowmobiling in about 10+ yrs , ( where I ended up buying 2 sleds - 97 sx700 and a 2002 SXV ) I cant believe I missed out on so many good times.. Well The 97 gave me issues at first with the carbs that noone seemed to be able to figure out.. So once I found the right guy to dial everything in it ran like a charm.. Oh that happened a few weeks after my SXV blew up, throwing a rod through the case and taking out all the crank bearings, a few weeks and only a couple hundred miles after I bought it
I loved that damn sled..
WEll Ol faithful ( the 97 ) runs mint now, but Im in need of a track since it literally ripped off the sled as I was running seafoam through it just before storage.. Which Makes me pretty damn lucky I guess since I rode by myself alot due to my crap work schedule, and it held until storage day
SO.... I need a track, I have heard that a ripsaw will fit , but there are better options out there in 3/4-1" Its been a while so I just need a little refresher course on what sites or vendors to visit as well as suggestions..
I know its a bit early, but Im ready to ride , and cant wait for this season!

As far as 1" tracks go, the best options (IMO) are the Camoplast Hacksaw & the Predator or Carve. I've had the Predator or Carve as they call it now, and loved it.

Yeah, I would go to tracksusa.com, they are right here in MN. You'll have to call them to buy, but they are really good to talk to.
