I need help changing the crank case oil in my Viper. I can't seem to find any info on the procedure in the service manual or online. Can someome please post a pic of where to drain it, fill it, how much it takes and what type

For real??? It's a 2-stroke - it mixes with the fuel.
My 2 stroke MX bike uses oil in the crank case I figured the sled would to, but I guess that's just to lube the tranny then.

I see. Nope no oil added, just what gets mixed in with the fuel.

Yes, your bike oil is for the tranny.
Yes. And to make it slightly confusing, the oil for the dirt bike gears, etc. is 10 w 40 usually, not as heavy as typical 75w 90 gear oil.

Na dont feel stupid, we were all new at sometime. But you should change your chain case oil! Pretty easy and worth the time. Post if ya need help on that one. chris
