RPM engagement

I got a 2000 SX-r 600, Can anyone tell me at what RPM is the clutch suppose to engage? Its a bone stock sled.... Just FYI, Mine isn't engaging until like 3800-4000 rpm's. belt is broken in with less than 300 miles on it....
 

Stillen you should be okay with that engagement, if you put a new spring in your primary i bet you would see that engagement go up.
 
any more than 4000rpm and you will spin the track way too easy off the line, especially if you still have the stock yoko track on it.
