Any opinions on going to 2 wheel rear axle on my 700sx? I use it to boondock, but also trail ride it. it has a 136 IQ skid.

i don't see a problem with it. probably be the best of both worlds. i'd just be nervous if i ever broke a wheel, then i'd be s.o.l. when you're out & about.

i run two wheel kits on 3 of my sleds.
one reason is the weight drop, the other for sidehill capabilities.
my sleds will see about 8 miles of trail to get to the top. easy riding, no rail to rail tight corner stuff.
honestly, you cant really notice the lack of the third or fourth wheel(depending on your sled) under normal riding conditions, this based more on a mountain application, until you cut a slope on the side. i can see where the lack of the extra wheels may have a negative impact on the trail.
but, the best reason for this mod in my opinion, is how much more easily the adjusters are to access if you take the time to grind the rivets and flip the adjusters over.
