My neighbor has a '90 Exciter 570CC twin that he wants $250 for. He said they had it out and it just quit last winter and won't start now. It has good compression and is getting fuel but there's no spark. Do these sleds have any general issues with thier stator, CDI, wiring, etc. that I should be aware of?

I don't know that they had any worse issues than any other sled, my 95 VMax 600 ate a stator. The high RPM coil to be exact. The only real issue on my Exciter, other than riding and handling like death, was the fuel had to be turned off every time you shut down the sled for more than an hour or it'd flood.
