Hi, My friend has a -99 vmax 700 with aaen triple pipes and two layer headgasket. He had heelklickers now but the sled doesent rip as it should. It is good of the line but thats it. We can not load the weights more, if we do the rpms drop. I have suggest to skip the heelklicker and work with some yamaha weigts and maybe a different helix and springs. So...any tips what we would start with? He want a engagement rpm around 5-5500.
Tech pages Look for 8CA's they hall

DEALER CAN GET THEM, THEY ARE YAMAHA WEIGHTS. I WOULD START AT AROUND 50 GRAMS. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Wich springs? oem?
to clutch at 9000 rpm , with 8ca's ,put some aluminum rivets in the tip, run a helix at close to what is suggested here and stock springs with 2 shims. should get you close!also put in 15 mm rollers....you may have to add a bit more weight to your 8ca's
