lights

i tried a piaa and silverstar, go with the silverstar from what i can tell its the same, the guys at the auto shop really hyped up the piaa so i purchased one and $40 later had the same with what i had with the silverstar for $25...good luck CP

if you are really looking for bright lights, look into getting some HID's (they are the brightest ones out there) They'll run you a couple hundred, but nothing can touch the output that you get from a pair of them. (Know those annoying lights on cars that you swear are high beams, but they aren't, well HID's are what those cars have) I may still have a contact name that can get HID's fairly cheep. Somewhere around 225 or 250 I think, otherwise you are looking 300-400 range.

just go to an auto wrecker and ask or look for some from the wrecks, i got mine from a lexus (HID) and they work fine, and i got them for free also! just be sure to get all the parts needed! hooking it up is easy, i can get the info if you need it.

snowfox,
thats definately a good start as far as places to look. I didn't know they don't charge you though for taking them. That is awesome if you can get 'em for nothing. I'll have to check that out myself. I know bran new, like I said, you're looking at around 3-4 bills. You just keyed me into something, I'll have the check this weekend. I think the cars that have HID's are Mercades, Lexus, Audi, but only certain models have them. DO you have any info on what those models are?

What is involved with putting a HID in a snowmobile (Viper)? Just plug & play?

Thanks

I run HID's and they are blue, makes the snow look completely different and seams easier on the eyes then years and years of the same look. Good Luck, Brent
