but we thought It would be amazing to do a Hero Mission into the Alpine for some Summer Sledding we knew there was still snow, we were just worried about how sketchy it was gonna be to get to it.

07 Summit

The trail was #$%&* sketcky and a massive tree had fallen and blocked the Trail, SOL??? I think Not, break out the shovels and build a kicker out of what little snow we could find on the trail. and were gonna jump the Log. and it worked no prob.

we finnally got to the Cabin, My friend messed up his ankle so he had to start the BBQ and make sure the beer was cold for when we got back.

Do It Im the Only one that rides Blue out here and I love it. if you were riding in +35 in July and the snow reflects the white light, Im sure you'd be wearing a swimsuit too =).

What was the altitude there? That's something I've always wanted to do, because if you sink the sled who give a crap? You're warm and dry 5 minutes after getting out of the water.

those are awesome pics. Great stories to tell your kids & grandkids someday. I love the water in the second water crossing pic, so clean & blue, looks inviting.

I looked at these pictures yesterday and couldn't even think of anything nice to say.
For posting such a tease in the middle of summer I think you should be banned!!! ...or host a TY Summer Ride in 2012!!!
Looks like a great time and awsome pictures too.

Thanks all the awesome comments are making me want to do this again, If anyone is ever interested in Riding out here this winter or attempting a mission like this summer 2012, feel free to contact me. I got alot of comments on the Water shot with the Mountain Max, so heres the sequence shot.

It was the first time I had ever crossed water on a sled, I drove by and eyed it up once, realized that the snow drops aprox 1-2 ft then hits the lake, so I figured If I gapped at least 8ft at full throttle 50+km I should be ok. keep the weight on the back end.....

worked out 100%
