hey guys i am looking for a 3 phase motor around 2 to 3 horse that spins around 1700 rpms to 3200 i dont have much to spend so cheapest i can find the better ,,shaft size doesnt matter i jut need it to build a converter for my shop so i can have 3 phase since i currently dont have ..i am sure some of you know what i am about to do so any help would be great

thanks i have looked at that and am leaning more towards a rotary converter instead of a static converter ...since my mill has forward and reverse ,also a statix converter is not true 3 phase

my dad has one on his lathe will find out what kind it is works well and is small
thanks find out if he runs on 230 or 460 3 phase and if his motor run in reverse for reverse or if it is done by gearing

his a TB woods on his lathe vari- speed and the lathe does reverse
