Here is the ultimate event! OCTOBER 29, 2011

We have teamed up with Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove WI and built a Grass track on their grounds with 120' of pristine blue clay (not one pebble in it), 1500+ feet of shutdown with a port-a-tree professional timing system that parallels the 1/4 mile asphalt track to present "The 4th Annnual Racing Extreme Grass Drags, Show & Swap" , "Annual Halloween Havoc", "Kenosha County Alliance Swap Meet" & "MSDRS's Asphalt Drags" .

We will be running tar sleds, grass sleds of ANY horsepower, and carsall for one price. General admission gets you in to all the events, all day!

As far as grass we will be running qualifying runs from 9AM to 12PM then the main event from 1230PM on.You get 3 qualifying runs. 4,8 or 16 main event bracket as entries allow. EVERYBODY WILL RUN IN THE MAIN EVENT!

We are working on a fulll day of test and tune on Saturday OCTOBER 22, 2011 at the Dragaway, one price general admission will let you test on our track ALL DAY with the port-a-tree professional timing system. Please go to www.grass-drag.com for up to date info, rules and directions.

Weather is looking good. Rain is gone and tomorrow and saturday looks like 55 degrees and sunny!! excellent drag weather!! We will be taking action on any input from racers that show up to make this event, and all future events, the best they can be. This saturday we will be listening to all racers input that show up, fixing any bumps they find unacceptable, we also will have our own improver there doing the same thing. The goal is to have this track as smooth as possible for next weekends race.

FYI, we have the fastest outlaws in the country coming. Clay is REAL good with just stud pattern at 1.25 sec 60' with 750LB sled! Bring the power guys, weve got the shutdown!

any questions please call.

UPDATE
Test and tune this past saturday went real well. We smoothed some bumps in the track and dialed in the timing system. We are fully functional with prestage, stage, RT, 60', MPH and ET. The track was holding 1.2 Second 60' times with no loss of trction at all and real firm clay. Additional track fine tuning will continue throuought the week. Weather for the 29th is looking great with sun and temps in the 50 range. Were ready! bring the power!
