I just wanted to take a minute and thank TotallYamaha for all the information that is provide here. Thank you to the creators, those who maintain, and all the contributors. Not for giving me "the right answer", but for giving everyone knowledge to make smart decision and in the end make our sleds run better. We ran a bunch of 10.4's and oh-so-close to 121mph. Our best 1/4 mile ET was 10.42 and a best speed of 120.94 and still don't have the clutching dialed in as close as I want it yet so I'm quite happy with the results. Ran a lot of 60"s times in the 1.4's with a best of 1.44. Entered 3 bracket competion races, 12 rounds competion, 10 round wins, 1 Winner trophy (won by my wife), and 1 runner up (me), also unknowingly helped a fellow sled racer win the year end points championship for sleds and bikes at New England Dragway! Thanks again to everyone!

Your welcome for some pointers.Did you ever lower the sled?

No, I never did get to lower it. However, the change I made to the rear suspesion has kept the nose from lifting as much as it was in those pictures I posted earier. I did not yet come up wth good way to limit the front "ski" shock extension, aside from short shocking them. Did want to spend the money to do that. The rear suspension is sucked down almost all the way. I do still believe it is good to allow weight transfer. I've seen many sleds with seemingly no transfer spin the track and also not go straight. I haven't noticed any significant track spin and the sled always goes dead straight. I know I can run better 60's still as I still have a significant over-run at launch to deal with. RPM's shoot up to about 9000 and then come down to 85 or so. Like I said, have yet to get the clutching where I want it. Trying to make changes one at a time and in a logical progression. Only ran the sled 7 days.
