syncronizing srx carbs

is there a specal tool to meassure the gap between card slides.if there is could someone point me in the right direction thanx

I don't think there's a special tool, but the easiest thing to do is use a small drill bit. Place it between the slide and the lower carb body and adjust each to the size of that bit. You'll find this suggestion in a lot of snowmobile technical manuals.

Look in the tech section and you can see photos I did. It walks you through the entire procedure including the tool I used. Yes, you can use a drill bit if you have a set that gets you close. In the photos I am using a Brown-Sharp small hole gauge set. Doug
