ultimax belt

hey guys did i read somewhere that the yamaha belt for a 01 srx or all wasnt the best belt to run and to run the ultimax thanks bgblock

The stock 8DN is an excellent belt, too stiff for some, but will run cooler than the Ultimax. The Ultimax is softer but is very good. I run both.

stock belts are ussualy the best. 1800 on mine on the ole sx

4 8dn belts in 6yrs i only smoked 1 out of the 4 and that was my fault,thease belts last along time...and thats a good thing at 58.00 bones

I was told the 8DN belts are hard and generate alot of heat, but last a long time .. versus the Ultimax 3 anyway ... I'm going to put it to the test if we EVER get any decent snow around here!!!
