stay in the snow!!!lol
really it does help gettin graphite sliders especially if your in marginal snow, wheel kits, ice scratchers (cant vouch the scratchers, ive never used em), run your track as loose as possibe without jumping the track on holeshots and such. you should get more than that out of em

Some people get them fairly warm by riding on hard pack, then dip into snow for a couple minutes to cool them off. Sort of tempering them and making them harder. Sounds good, not sure if it works though.

I swear on graphite slides. I do 50% of road riding and have gone threw slides untill I went to graphite and now I get a couple seasons out of them. They cost a little more but worth it.

if you're really itching to get your sled out, run it up and down a field a couple times to get the hyfax really hot, then hit them with the hose. killing two bird with one stone because you'll also burn out all the fogging oil if you use it

Tempered plastic? Really??
Pioneer Perf. hyfax saver kit, small wheel kit ( upfront in the bend) and a fully clipped will prolong hyfax life along with not running in poor snow conditions
