since I put a brand new 1" Kimpex with 144 studs..I am guessing the track will stretch some in the first few rides.Would like 50 miles be a good number for the track to have a proper breakin at slower speeds or just pin it on the SRX..lol Then check the tension after that again...and check my studs as well and re torque them to.

ive never worried about it, just be somewhat easy first ride and check once in a while, if it gets loose youll hear it start jumpin on holeshots and such, if need be there are tools enough in a tool kit to adjust your track tension in just couple minutes side the trail. if any high speed long pulls then may be time to check it. its never been a problem with me but ill still keep an eye on it when i get home in between rides. i am always lifting my sled and checking things over anyways in between rides. make sure to take care of it if you notice it starting to get loose instead of trying to make it through the rest of the ride like alot of people will try, thats how they tear up coolers with studs. loose track and then hard braking at high speeds and the track slops forward and kisses the cooler.

yeah I had no problems with the last track ,but because of studs..I want to be sure track doesn't loosen to much..I always check everything after every ride to,got heated garage ..so I can easily inspect things once snow has melted off every thing.

i have the same track , and that thing never stretched lol
ok then...but still gonna keep my eyes on it after a good ride in the beginning...Right now I have the track tension at 1 3/16 drop with 21-22 lb weight on the track. Will see if that will change.I had my exchanger fins gouged before from studs with track to loose. That was the original track when I bought the sled used.Don't remember stud length then..but the 1.075 studs last 3 seasons on my Predator track didn't touch anything.

yeah keep an eye on it , but i threw it on in the middle of one of our longer trips ran it a little tighter than normal and after 300 miles it still looked the same ... it seems like a pretty stiff track...
