I put on a RX1 helix on my 600 sxr this fall..I have an aftermarket 51/43 in my
SRX.Someone said they are a little different..but I am not concerned. You can do what Turk said we can do to check the angle.Put a nut on the helix ramp and put one of those 360 degree angle finders on top of that. Will give you a close reading.

A Yamaha 51/43 helix (the stock helix in any RX-1 or Apex) will shift more like a 48/40 by other companies measurement standards. Every company is a little different. 3 degrees less on the initial and finish angle would make a very noticeable difference.

Yes you xare correct. The yamaha angles are less agressive then most aftermarket helixes.
