I am in the market for a new track for my '02 Viper. I like the Cross Country Ripsaw 1.50" lug. Dennis Kirk advertises that it will fit under the sled. Anybody tried this track yet, and if so does it fit without a problem? Thanx.

Previous sleds:
I'm not sure, but I think we are talking about the same track.
I put a 1.5" ripsaw under my 06 RS Nytro and when I got rid of the sled, I put it under my 03 SXR600. You will have to remove the tunnel protectors but other than that it will fit. It is a little tight trying to get the front axle back in with 9 tooth drivers, but possible.
I am going under the assumption that the SXR and SX Viper are the same as far as the inside front of the tunnel is concerned.
I highly recommend you put on extrovert drivers as well with any proaction skid.
I do not run studs. I definitly would not with that track and the tunnel protectors removed.

^^^ don't run studs with a 1.5 track. It will fit w/o changing the drivers. I'm running a 1.5 on my viper, she's a beaut!!!

i only removed the heat exchanger protectors, plenty of clearance under the tunnel, up against the heat exchanger is a little tight, just keep your track tight and you'll be fine. I'll get a few pics this weekend
