I wonder if it would be a good idea to install 3 of these
http://www.thunderproducts.com/tpi_valve.htm
on the dash of an SRX instead of say a Bender Cold air kit?
Now I see that they will not flow as much, but you can always shut it off if it becomes tempramental.

Let me know what you think

thanks.

May b worth a shot but I don't know about shutting them down on the fly like that though. U would have to get them in a set location and jet it for that amount of air. From what most on her say cold air kits are not worth messing with unless u have other mods already done. Very minimal gain on stock engine.

I made something similar to the lowboy style out of plexiglass for a Storm I had and a buddy's MachZ. They weren't as purdy though.

They weren't worth the hours I had into making them.

I actually swap out the foam on top of the airbox. i have a very thin, free flowing one i use in the day, put in the stocker at night. Prob don't help, maybe i just like to look under the hood ??

boys install holtzman temp compensators never jet again and no burn downs u jet ur stock jetting for a safe minus 30 below zero that goes in the air box
