Hey guys,
I'm wondering if this is nature of the beast, or if I need to fix/replace something on my 03 Viper.
It takes almost a full pull of my brake leaver to get the brake light to light up. Running light is fine, but to make the brake light come on, I'd have to lock up the track on the trails.
I was riding last year and my buddies were always saying how I never had to brake while riding. Not true, I just didn't have the handle all the way in.
Can someone help or explain this?
Thanks!

That doesn't sound right to me. I believe it should come on almost immediately. Id have to double check on that so don't hold me to my word.
ya it should come on once u touch your brake..
There is a switch under the brake handle. It needs to be replaced. They wear out. 13$ at your dealer and an easy fix.
