I'm about to do a clutch alignment on my viper but I've noticed that there is play on the secondary which I was told was normal. What I was wondering is that when you measure offset do you take this play out of the secondary by pushing it in toward the engine or pulling out away from the engine? Or maybe put it in the middle?
On a similar note if the offset is off my understanding is to make corrections using the shimms. Put the shims on the inside to increase offset or put them on the outside to decrease it. Is this correct?
My center to center is right on.
Any advice would be welcomed.
