I was taking out the power valves on my '02 Viper, and the # 1 cylinder, I took out the 2 allen bolts on the cable housing, and the cable and spring came out immediatley. Unlike the other 2 that I took out the 2 allen bolts, then the 4 allen bolts on the housing attached to the jug, to take out the power valve completely. Is it broken, or just unhooked somehow??
The cable pulled through the power valve and the slipped through the plate. You will need to have the power valve repaired. There are a few members that mill them down and replace it with stainless steel.
yup sounds like a pull thru valve ..be sure to inspect the other 2 for pull thru or enbedded cable ....sent you a pm about repair
