what is the perfect air fuel ratio on a 2 stroke
you want to keep the ex gas temp at 1200 for peak perf . higher is getting iffy . i have a ex temp gauge on mine to keep a watch on it

in a perfect world 14 to 1 but if your running it hard youd need 12 to 1
thnx don ill keep a eye to get a perfect 13.1 to be safe ..............

im playing with a wide band o2 sensor thats why not a egt gauge
i didnt go for a ride but iddling after the sled is warm up the gauge read 14,3 so i guess for iddling its perfect .....

well everyting is freezing here ....the baja is all wrap ..they will snow soon soon almost ready to hit the throttle ...still didnt put the 8bu need to remove some weight of it a little ..... its gonna be the indian week next week and then full of snow

If its similar to automobile, somewhere between 12-13.0 to 1 is max power. This allows for every oxygen molecule to be consumed by the fuel (since oxygen is the limiting agent in motors). At stoich, there's some oxygen that just passes through. The extra fuel also cools the cylinder.
Gasoline has stoichiometry at 14.7:1, but with the 5-10% ethanol its in the mid to low 14s. I would try for 14.5 if you're one of the ethanol states, for low end, and as you approach WOT, use the mains to get down to the high to mid 12s.
Is your wideband on one cylinder or all three? I ran a wideband in my Silverado pickup truck, it wasn't very accurate though. It always said mid 13's when my truck was on closed loop narrowband sensors.
