I just picked up a 97 vmax 700 which I'm parting out in the classified section. It has a rear heat exchanger in it but it looks smaller than the SRX exchanger. Would it work in a Viper? Even being smaller its better than whats there right? which is nothing.
yes, it will work but the hose ends of it are little bit smaller then the srx/viper ends, I use 3/4 heater hose and put in boiling water then slip over the ends.

I have a SX exchanger in my SRX for 3 seasons now. Never had a temp. issue.
