Put six miles on in the corn field at my buddies farm Then ran out of gas in the ditch and had to pull it back to his house with my truck haha! Oh and not only that but this is the first time it has ever snowed on my birthday since we moved to Wisconsin from the UP!
Anyone else get some miles in?

I had to spend my day in MN where it was nice and sunny at 50 degrees. Drove thru it all tho (in my truck). If I would have been at the office I could have gone for a ride because the POWER WENT OUT! The one day I get shipped out...

Kind of a freak snow storm for us here. I cant remember a time in the 17 years I've been in Wisconsin that its snowed on my birthday. When we lived in the UP it always snowed.
On another note, the XL-V ran like a champ but I need to change the spring wrap in the secondary. She only revs out to about 6700. Should be at 7000.

Woke up to 6 inches in my yard today...

Canada doesnt always get snow first eh! Actually southern Wisconsin gets more snow than we do here in the East Central part of the state.bluemonster1 said:send up to North to us here..can't believe you have snow before us..we are cursed...

It aways feels good to get the sled out, whether its mid summer and grass, or now with snow I got it back inside to clean the carbs though, wasn't running quite right. Got to start somewhere, this well be 3 out of 12 carbs I have to clean at season start. With always a possibility of more later on. My dad's cousin always says to go over and get his 98 SRX out since he never seems to ride it. Don't think it has even seen snow in 2 years, so this year I'm definitely getting that thing out

Where are you at? Turtle Mountains area? We dont' have anything here in Fargo. Just a dusting the past couple days.
It came down hard yesterday, but the ground is way too warm for it to stay around long.
