im replacing the oil sensor on my 2000 sxr 700.... my local yammy dealer is selling me part #8CR-85720-01-00.... when i look at updated parts list on yamaha site it says the correct part is 8CR-85720-02-00 which replaced part 8CR-85720-00-00... I see no mention of the 01 part..only place i see 01 mentioned is when i look up 2001 sxr 700... it says new part is 8CR-85720-02-00 which replaced the 01..... will this 01 work on my sxr? and why would yamaha be selling me this part if it was replaced? i wonder if the 01 was added for the 2001 sxr and thats why its not listed for the 2000 sxr...i imagine all three are the same exact fits just updated items? i hope.. i just want to make sure that he is giving me correct info before i buy it.. once again, 2000 sxr 700, yammy dealer is selling me outdated part 8CR-85720-01-00..when i questioned it, he says he called yamaha parts distributer and they told dealer its the same part as 02, and that they not selling the 02 until they run out of the 01...LOL... i hope im not getting screwed here..thanks
