i have a 2002 viper and i just pulled my clutch off this evening. and noticed a slight ring of oil around the pto side crank seal. not enough to drip by any means but is wet all the way around the crevice of the seal where it butts the crankshaft. time to replace? or is this ok or normal for these machines. like i said very slight amount of oil around it. for now? crank is tight bearing wise. sled only has 2984 miles on it. any 1 with any experience with this? thanks, andrew.

If the residue is between the crank end and the inner race of the bearing, there is nothing to worry about. My SRX has been like this for years.
