made from .050 aluminum sheet bent into a 2x2x2 channel for a 2" rise. no welding just remove the rivets holding the tunnel protectors in place and use those holes to attach the channel for a nice clean appearance. by making cuts in the channel you can follow the taper of the rear seat . will post more piks tommorow showing this.696viper said:looks good can you tell me more on the fab did you have to weld it and did you make a channel was going to make a wood one but like that one better

Nice job! Will also be very light. I bet you could also use the aluminim studs for those that dont have a way to have it bent??? Just a thought......

Very nice. You'll like the new seating position. What are you using to hook in the front of the seat?

i'm fabricating a bracket 2" above where the hooks originally fastened, will probably shave a little off the hooks so they won't be resting on the tank. for the two studs on the back i will tap piece of round stock and bolt down the seat right above where it originally sat.stein700sx said:Very nice.
