exhaust to motor, what size bolt??????

sxr 700, noticed yesterday that where the exhaust attaches to motor its missing one bolt... must have came off last riding season and i never noticed it....before i go ordering bolts and all from yammy dealer, i was thinking of just going to hardware store to get one cheaper.....is this advisable? and any idea what size bolt this would be? the bolt could have been missing for years for all i know... just noticed it yesterday...its where the three exhaust outlets plug into the motor itself... looks like gasket is still good..... thanks
 
My viper had studs which are 6mm, but I think the thread is different on the cylinder side than the nut side. They're cheap, I think for the price, I'd just buy the right OEM parts.
