Is this a good yamaha jacket?

I am in need of snowmobile gear. My carhart bibs and random winter jackets are not cutting it. I found this jacket just listed on craigys list.

I'm sure it's a nice jacket, and it may be warm enough for you, who knows. The shell looks nice and heavy duty. The lining looks like the quilted liner on my bike leather, pretty warm, but not toasty warm. I'll tell ya, I've got two Choko coats. They are super warm. One is my everyday when it's colder than hell out coat and my new one is my riding coat. Quality made. I've got the bibs too but unless its -35 out they're too warm.
I think you could find something better suited for colder weather personally but that is up to you. If you're the type of person who is warm by nature then the jacket may be perfect for you. Just my .02.

I'd be leary buying a used coat mail order without being able to smell it first.

May look good in a pic but if the guy sweated a lot it might reek.

Just something to think about.

x2, there are alot of good deals out there. youll never wanna look at the carhart again, u wont even know how u ever did it.
sometimes even dealers around this time have good deals, still got some of last years design they wanna get rid of

Are you riding an RX-1?? If not then I dont even see the point of getting this jacket. There are always good deals on Castle jackets and bibs on ebay. You can find a new jacket for 180ish. JMO
Personally I dont think you can ever go wrong with a good Yamaha brand jacket.

Ive got the twin to this jacket in Yamaha blue and its very warm, sometimes too warm, but you can unzip a little. My vote is for Castle X, but I know Reima and Choko are both excellent names.

Called over there to bronson today and orerded that jacket. Sounded like a sled auction was going on in the back ground. Bet that's a riot to go to.

Choko also has some 3 fingered gloves that are SUPER warm.

I have a Choko Bear that is 12 years old. Had to put a new zipper in it last year. Very warm jacket.

Ah, the trauma shears... Lost my favorite sweatshirt and "lucky" riding shirt to them. The coat I zipped off before rescue got there.
