Pretty clean looking sled. Whats the compresion? 2800 seems a lil on the steep side. If its got good compression numbers and can pick it up for 24-2500 should treat you right.
ya im not sure on the compression yet im going to look at it on sunday.
I picked up my 2000 SRX for $2,200. Had 8,000 KMS.

yea, price is on the steep side in my area, didnt say anything cause i know some areas they hold their value alot better than where i am. i know ive seen many in canada go for more than here, or even close to mountain riding where sleds are more popular, possibly cause also in them areas its mosltly good riding instead of beating them to death like it is alot of the time in my area. i swear some people will ride on frost. lol
that looks real clean, should do for you. still would at least check compression, hear it run and so forth. looks good though, the 00 to 02s were the nicer ones, that is one with the ohlins also.

I just purchased an 02 with 1094 miles... looks like its been rode hard, studs are all worn down, but milage is correct. not much wear any where else. just needs some TLC. I paid $2950. There were several other guys on it but I was first one there and got it. It was in Grand Rapids, MI,
so i went today (sunday) to go and look at it... it was quite clean, good compression 120 across the board. track was mint no stud pull threws or tears. seat was in good condition.. the only damage i saw was on the belly pan was white in 1 spot but all srx are like that. i going to find a snowflap and a front bumper because they are a scratched up a little............so i bought it for 2500$ canadian, im happy finally i can beat my buddy on his mxz 700

Go the Tech Pages on this site - lot's of good info there for removing and cleaning carbs? If you have a digital camera or a phone with a camera, take several pics as you take it apart. This can help remove doubt when reassembling.

And make sure to check what jetting it has in it, in comparison to the elevation & temps you'll be riding.
