Hi ! I use a 4 foot dowel 3/8" in size, through the heels of the spindles. Take the skis off, loosen the adjustment nuts on the heims joints. Slid the rod though one side, if its out a lot adjust it util it lines up with the other side, keep sliding until it slides though both sides easily. Check the handle bar alignment, adjust to center bars. Then pull the dowel out, and then I turn adjustment out on each side 1/4 turn so skis tow in. Let me know if this is a help JB

Hope you meant toe OUT. Toe in makes the sled dart and jump around

Same here, If I were you I would read Betheviper's on aligning your front end. It is very good reading. His one on tightening up rear skids is good too.bluemonster1 said:I use measuring tape and 2 straight edges..works for me

did that exactly.. skid and front end..Run 2 straight edges off the side of track and then start measuring to center of ski's and adjust accordingly.sockeyerun said:Same here, If I were you I would read Betheviper's on aligning your front end. I have straight edges, and multiple tapes, found it easier to use the bar, tracks are not straight, skis are tapered or warped, bar dont lie. Especially helpfull when doing a completely adjustable front end.

I believe it 5/8" (with the ski bolt bushing removed) but as BeTheViper said, a staight edge and measuring tape.
I don't bother with a straight edge. If the toe is correct, the skis will center themselves to the track. I set clear vision last.
