Looking to send my crank out this week. I was preferbly looking for a shop in PA or NY as that is where I am geographicly located. Any recomendations? Not oppsed to sending it elsewhere just thought it would make sense to ship it the closest distance. Looking for any reputable crank shop suggestions.
THe MAG side rod is broken due to a siezed piston. Did not find root cause yet but I am expecting a clogged jet lean condition as all of the other cylinders look great.
I bought this sled in this condition so the maintenance history is unknown.

very common problem on vipers, most all of them take out the mag or center cylinders. these cylinders have higher compression then the pto cylinder does, the main root of the problem will be the lean spot when just cruising at half throttle, raise the needles some in those 2 cylinders and run octane boost in your gas and youll be trouble free. theres quite a few post on this subject on this site.
As far as fixing the crank any place that does reputable repairs will be fine with what you need replaced, rod, lower rod bearing and retrued/welded end.
