While I had my srx on its side to grease the control rods, I noticed my bulkhead is cracked all the way from bottom to top. Upon further inspection from inside the sled I could see its also cracked all the way on the back as well. So basically it is split in half. I was wondering what I will need to do in order to change this. Here is a link to the part I am talking about http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-yamaha...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item1c1f549f87

It is a little bit of grunt work, but fairly easy to do. Removing the engine makes it easier. You will need to remove the front radius rods, the front hoop, and front braces. A number of rivets will have to be punched/drilled out, and the belly pan taken loose enough to get to everything. The bulkhead is attached to the front frame with rivets, a number of them. Be sure to keep track of which rivets also hold other parts for ease of reassembly. The Yamaha Parts Catalog can be a big help http://www.yamaha-motor.com/partviewer/?ls=sport
Best is to support the sled from the front frame and tunnel so the whole front of the sled is in the open and elevated. With the engine removed it puts the balance point further back too.

My front bulkhead was split in two. Didn't notice that when I bought her. Took it to a guy that tig welds and he fixed me up for @ $75.
