i am looking for a 2000 race cdi or changing it to a 2001 race cdi if it is possible. just wondering what is involved in switching it over to a 2001 cdi.
plugs are differnt on the cdi box, you cant use the connectors from a 2000 to a 2001. The easiest way to swap is to use a 2001 wire harness, everything will plug in and the only differance will be the hand warmers, the 2000 uses the single rheostat where the 2001 has seperate rheostats for the wamers, grip/thumb

thanks alot i think i will get a wiring hareness for a 2001. my wiring hareness has been repair numerous times.
