Vmax xtc

Looking for a used yami and have come across a few late 90s xt & xtcs. I don't know much about them & am looking for pros/cons. This is for a young boy, whom is too big for anything in the 120 class. I had a 95 plain vmax in the past myself that treated me well. Any feedback is appreciated. I currently see a '97 xtc on craigslist with 3800 miles.
