um i was reading over mrviper700 cleaning carbs post and it says 1 1/4 turns out on the fuel screw..however i was reading somewhere that the pilot mixture screw should be 1 7/8 turns out..so is this the stock setting for the vipers, and is the fuel screw the same as pilot mixture screw..im assuming so..

here's the quote
The fuel screw setting are from a LIGHTLY seated(in all the way) to turns counted going counter clockwise, so if your setting was for example: 1.25 turns, that means all the way in to just barely snug, then turn the screw driver 1 complete 360 degree revolution and then a quarter of a turn More, see its simple!

he's just using 1.25 turns as an example, not claiming that to be the setting

it,s actually not recomended to go past two turns on the fuel screws.past two turns theres a chance the spring on the screw will have no preload and the screws can vibrate looser or worst fall out . past two turns you should go to the next size up on the piolet jet and reset the fuel screws to where it runs best , more than likely between the recomended 1 to 2 turns.;)!
