I guess the only down part about that is having to buy the big bore pipes to make it run right. I'm trying to get hold of a 780 kit
pull off one of his spark plug caps when he isnt paying attention. youll win for sure!! but in all seriousness that would be a tough race. only one way to find out though. its all fun and games. and anyways your on a 700. if ya lose..put a 800 big bore on your sled to make it fair. then try it again. he he.blueblood68 said:The srx clutched 192 pics engine stock but strong. I give it to the rev. I have a hard time with my bud's 2007 800 blizzard. That is a strong sled.he pulls pretty hard especially on a rolling start.

Ive beaten the 03 mxz800 and the mach z but i know their hp was closer to mine but the 09 has the new generation motor and its about 150hp .
my 98 bet a 08 rolling start he pulled me a sled length then i went by like he was hooked to a tree. he was pissed and went and got his 08 1000 and still couldnt beat me side by side across the lake.

Last winter I ran five 2010/11 Ski-Don'ts, 2 four strokes and three 800's with my 98 SRX Mountain. It wasn't really a race as it was down miles of ditch from one location to another, but they did say there was no way that little 700 could catch them. They were full of beer and going like raped apes. It took miles and running over 100 mph, but I caught and passed the 4 strokes, then one 800 at a time until I passed them all! The last one was kind of a drag race where he slowed for the approach and I went high around, it took me a minute to get out of the grader-mound whilst he was down on the flats pulling hard, but when my little SRX got up on top of the hard snow it was like it could smell ski-poo blood and came alive passing that yellow crap and streaking into the lead at well over 100 mph! They couldn't believe it! MY SRX has only a Bender can on it, new clutch springs, (black and yellow primary) and 13000 kilometers on the odo!!!! Thats what happened, take it or leave it. Yamaha baby!

What year did the aluminum foil xp come out? If it aint an xp you should take him,Ive never had any trouble with ANY revs. Thats just my experience anyway, not saying its impossible to be beat by one though. The xp is a good race though, it could go either way.
I just skimmed the net for specs and the 98 SRX is listed at 522lbs. Someone mentioned the REV (xp I assume?) was 100 lbs less, is it really 422lbs? That's insane. My phazer weighed about that!

I'll be at this same junction soon if it snows. Xp800r against my 98'.
I'll be sure to choose that race carefully.
