Is there any distributors on here that are a little less expensive than buying the parts from Yamaha? I don't mind going aftermarket/non-oem. I need to replace all the tie rod ends and the control arm pivots but that's almost $300 in parts for everything from Yamaha... Ouch.
Hit the Parts for sale section. Prices are pretty good.

yep them parts are not cheap.Have changed mine on 2 sleds...dealer just gouges us.I order from on line sites now and save at least 40 %..still expensive parts and they will wear again in a few years......bad design from Yamaha,,should of been some set up where grease fittings where incorporated in these parts..but they knew they could make a killing on these parts I guess.
I'd like to go new all around. What site do you shop? I'd like to stick with a site sponsor but will go outside if I have to.
I'm surprised Dennis Kirk and others don't carry an aftermarket end assortment. I guess I'll just put the old fairly worn ones back on. I'm not spending $35 a piece for a little piece of metal with a ball in it. That is ridiculous. My old Indy 500 I replaced all the ends with new for $100 including the tie rod ends!

Royal Distributing in Canada sell them. I am sure cheaper than that but they're costle for a dinky little pivot IMO. I have some play in the center area at the bottom of the steering shaft. I am not sure exactly why/where but I just live with it.
There are many heim and other rod-end joint suppliers on the web. Yamaha uses a not so standard size but they can be found. This component was not originally designed for sleds, but rather simply used by sled manufacturers. Don't limit your search to sled related sites.

Was down at our local ACE hardware store and this particular store has an entire isle (both sides)of those 'pull out and open' trays. One of the trays had some that looked similar, although I didn't pay attention to the threads being metric or imperial.
