Lets take a 97 SX7 steel ski carbides will more than likely, not fit a 2000 SX5 w/ plastic skis.

Don't take this as gospel, but I believe so. I would think that all Yamaha plastic skis from those years should take the same carbides. Ask the seller a question....mabey a center of stud to center of stud length? And thank-you, I did not even realize about the posts. Shoot I looked at my odometer the other day in my 01 Sonoma, and I had went over 100,000 the day before.
I have a pair of the carbides your are looking at, 8" Carbide, doolies. These fit my 700 SRX but will not fit our Viper. Differant bolt pattern and length. Do you have the GYTR ski's??? If so these are the same as the 700 sxr and srx. Narrow ski short handles. Note, I actually preffer the steering of the slim jim dooly. Al
