I'm sure this is easy but I've never done it. Do you simply fish it out of the bottom of the tank with a coathanger? Sleds are 97 & 98 SX.
Yes, and the hose is short so you have to hold it with some long needle nose or a set of hemostats.

Do yourself a favor and pickup a piece of the same size fuel line a few inches longer and change it out when you change your filter. That way you only go thru that "PITA" once. Besides that hose if it's the stock length has probably never been changed. Gil

When I did mine I drained the tank and removed the hose from the tank fitting first and tied some fish line to that end of the hose. Then I fished out the filter and hose with the fish line attached. I put the new filter on the new (longer) hose and tied the fishline to the other end. It made threading the hose much easier. Gil
