79 SRX Fuel Pump

Alright well I finally pieced the whole wiring harness back together after a mouse decided to eat the majority of it and now I have spark. I ran all new fuel lines since the old ones were hard as a rock, but I cant for the life of me remember how the lines came into the fuel pumps. There are 3 ports coming from each pump, 1 on top and 2 underneath. are only 2 used? also on the rear of the engine (towards the driver) there are 2 nipples that come out of the crankcase what are these used for? where do the hoses run?

1 on top goes to carb 1st of the 2 0n bottom , the one closest to engine goes to pulse line off back of engine the other goes to fuel line to tank....
