Hello, I purchased a 02 viper that hed the bender pipe kit put on it with the opticool gasket and heel clicker clutch. I took the pipes off and put the stock ones back on. What do I have to do to adjust the clutch? I am not fimiliar with this clutch at all. someone said that it is adjustable.
Thanks
Jim

i think you will have to add tip weight to it. engagement should be ok but the tip weight will be too light and it will overrev. as it has heel clickers, that means using more washers in the hole closest to the tip untill the rpms read 8500 at wot on the trail or lake.

did you re-jet it? otherwise it probably will be really ritch.

Yes I got stock jets for it. couldnt believe that they were 5 sizes bigger. and that was on the low end of the scale according to bender.
I'm not sure wich one it is. but someone said something about moving the set screw either in or out. I know the primary spring is red and the secondary is black. the helix in the secondary has two numbers on it, if memory serves me it is 46 and 50. if this helps. otherwise I will have to research about the washers.
Thanks for the help!

Set up

If the helix is a 50/46 it's way to steep for a stocker. I'd recommend a 48/34 or 48/36 Dalton helix. Use either of these helix's with an 80 degree wrap give or take 10 degrees with a stock yamaha red secondary spring. In the primary use the red spring, 15 or 15.6mm rollers, use the long allen with 5 or 6 washers in the heel, put about 3.1 grams in the tip and about 2.4 grams in the middle hole. This should be close from memory. PM me if you need help dialing it in. I've got several years on this basic set up which was given to me by MRVIPER700. It is an excellent set-up. I am happy to help you if you are using the components listed above. If you are going to try it with different components please don't ask me for help.

Good luck!
