Sliding Sheave New Part Number ?

I noticed my sliding sheave has a small crack in it so I'll be replacing it soon. The part number for the sliding sheave has been updated and I want to know if I'd have to buy the tall cap to go with it or if my short one will still work.

I'm also considering a polaris clutch, but clutch tuning isn't my favorite thing to do.

your short one will still work. you can use the tall or short cover on these clutches , just depends if you are using a tall or short spring.

Okay, here's another question.

Will a clutch off a '96 600 work? The fixed sheave part # is different but the rest are the same as far as I could tell.
