i pulled off my sled (sx500r) and my dads sled (cougar 550 dlx ac
)off the trailer. when i went to put it back on i got it on the tillt and started to idle below 1000rpm
it sounded like it was running on on cylinder and wouldn't go up! i had to jack up the trailer and it ran better. and the ac whet right on!
p.s the tank was on "E"!!!!!!
it ran like this the last time i ran it and the tank was empty. so i put about a half gallon in it and it ran better! was this supposed to happen?

p.s the tank was on "E"!!!!!!

Sounds like when it was tipped up the fuel ran to the back of the tank and your fuel line wouldn't pick it up. If you look in your tank you can see the end of the fuel line with the filter on it. Gil

You might have to shine a flashlight in there to see it. I know mine only went back about 2/3 of the way from the front to the back and the filter lays right on the bottom of the tank. So if you were low on gas and tipped the nose up to load it that could easily happen. If you put a longer line on when you replace your fuel filter to assist with future filter changes , it will also help keep your problem during loading from happening. Gil
