wondering if anyone has mounted a 136 t-cat skid into an srx, curious as to the dimesions for the front mount hole from jackshaft and exactly how tall the rear sits with or w/o mounting brackets. all info helps, thanks.

I put a 136 Mountain Cat skid in my '99. I absolutely love it, one of the best upgrades ever. Not sure if my mount locations r what u need, but it is definately worth tossing the pro action.

i would assume your front mount would be relatively close to mine although i believe my skid is a little older, when i was putting it in last night it was binding in the tunnel but i didnt really wanna grind down the skid itself, if i could mark the front hole i could easily mount the rear to where it looks good and has best clearance, letme know if anyone has a diagram or mount location template. thanks.

In order for the skid to work correctly, like it was designed from the factory, you will want the dimensions from a donor sled.

ya i figured id have to grind it, how does one go about looking for a donor sled, we barely have a snowmobile dealer around here haha.

What sled & what year is the skid from ? I have a local guy that parts out a lot of A/C's. He may have a tunnul laying out back.

i got the skid front two mount bolts in but im curious as to how close your rails are to the drivers and if your using 8t or 9t drivers, i had 1/2 clearance from the rail until i tried lining up the rear suspension, and did you have touse drop brackets?

I couldn't find any measurements for you. My rail tips are pretty close to the drivers, the "tooth" part of the 8 tooth anti ratchets anyway. Not sure how close without looking, but i know when i was installing it, i was thinking I was going to have problems. No drop brackets in rear, just the aluminum arms that come on the skid.

cat skids will mount in those sleds put a 153 cat skid fromm 2000 mountain cat into my 2003 mountain max works very well and has great weight transfer
