yes but...
Thinking of selling my '98 Mountain SRX,
’98 Mountain SRX (made one year only, rare), added reverse (viper), clutched (dual angle, weights and springs), new drive belt, 1.25 ripsaw with studs and stud protectors, aluminum trailing arms added since photos, viper mountain carrier and taillight ,but have original tail light, recent hifax, and skid bearings, adjustable transfer rods, 8 tooth drivers with recent bearings, recent skis...just under 8K klm.
...any ideas on what it's worth (see sled garage attached).

KBB does not work for Canada :/, but I would guess around $1700-$2100.
I would buy it for 1900

I would think that's about right, but in some areas, and canada prices seem to be even a bit higher than that if in nice condition
great looking sled

NADA and market value are two separate things......
right now the exchange rates are about 1-1....(though they have been across the board thruout the month....I get to watch them for a living)
I see guys trying to sell their srx 600's down here in the cities fro 2500-3000......and they continue to sit...
It's only worth what the market is paying....and I'd guess the guys above have hit it on the head with their valuation.
If your selling....start high and listen to offers and be ready to come down if you really need to sell it.

In your area I would price that sled at $2800 and hope for the best.
Very nice looking sled. I'm surprised it's not priced in the low 3k arena but I don't really know squat about SRXs.

totally different sled prices are up and down around here between 2500 to 3500 depending on how bad the buyer wants it!!!yamabrute said:

Sorry but i have to say comparing a basically stock 04 with less miles to a 98 with mods is not much of comparioson. I could post a link for a yamaha snow blower I seen for sale but why? If they are the mods that the buyer wants then helps price. Mods buyer dont like hurts price signifacantly. 98 being in my opinion the worse year for any srx with its mountain rarety should be at least 2500+ ramge. The trick is to find the guy that wants it and has 2500!yamabrute said:

Thanks for all the replies, I was going to swap an almost mint '86 SAAB for my teenage son for the SRX. The guy wanted $3K or swap for the SRX...In the end I've decided to keep the sled for now...just not getting a lot of seat time anymore.

Well I sold my sled, watched it being carried away on a trailer up to the Sault , guy was very happy with the condition of the sled...paid $3000 (was asking 3,500), I think he got a great deal. I still have my GP292, but that's little compensation for the thrill of an SRX. If Yamaha came out with another SRX with the same soul, i'd consider getting back in the saddle again.
